On July 7, Moms Clean Air Force will join the Michigan League of Conservation Voters, Congresswoman Elissa Slotkin (MI-8), Oakland County Water Resources Commissioner Jim Nash, Price Dobernick, Business Manager of UA Local 333 Plumbers, Pipefitters and HVAC Mechanics, and Daniel Brown of the Huron River Watershed Council for a discussion on the opportunity to address climate change, protect clean water, and create good-paying union jobs in order to build America back greener.
Our country is at a pivotal moment as we recover from the COVID-19 pandemic. We have an immense opportunity to build our country back to take action on climate change and build a resilient, clean economy that works for everyone. Michigan sits at the center of this change and has an opportunity to lead with our manufacturing know-how, our auto industry and deep connection to water.
