On March 9, join some of Pennsylvania’s top public health experts and community activists to learn about the new proposal by the US EPA to reduce soot pollution.
Panelists will talk about what soot pollution is, how it harms the health of Pennsylvanians, and what strong soot protections could mean for the commonwealth. Community voices will also discuss their experiences and the work that they are doing to lead the charge against air pollution. We’ll also give an overview of EPA’s new proposal to reduce air pollution.
This event is sponsored by PennEnvironment, Moms Clean Air Force, Sierra Club PA, Cancer & Environment Network of SWPA, Clean Water Action, PennFuture, PA Physicians for Social Responsibility, Clean Air Council, Defend Our Future, PA Interfaith Power and Light, and Climate Action Campaign.
