SUMMARY:Wisconsin Public Service Rate Case Virtual Teach-In
DESCRIPTION:Wisconsin Public Service (WPS) serves much of north eastern and north central Wisconsin\, and if you live in one of the areas they cover\, your monthly gas & electric bill could be increasing. Again. \nRight now\, there are families who must choose between filling up their car with gas\, getting groceries\, and paying utility bills. At the same time\, the parent company of WPS\, WEC Energy Group\, reported a profit of $1.6 billion in 2025. \nDespite this\, WPS and We Energies (both owned by WEC)\, are proposing new rate hikes for customers\, which would bring in a staggering $645 million combined for these companies. \nJoin us to learn more about the proposal\, how it could impact your bill\, and what you can do to make your voice heard in the decision-making process! Moms Clean Air Force Wisconsin organizer Jayne Black will be speaking at this event\, which is hosted by Moms Clean Air Force-Wisconsin chapter and Wisconsin 350. \nRegistration is required. Sign up here.
