SUMMARY:Coffee & Climate Conversation: Community Power – Mom Leads Community to Stop a Data Center
DESCRIPTION:When a fossil fuel powered data center was proposed near her home\, Wisconsin mom and Moms Clean Air Force Field Organizer Jayne Black knew something was not right. Acting as a concerned neighbor\, she helped spark a rapid community response that grew to thousands of residents speaking up for clean air and public health. Within days\, the company withdrew its proposal. \nJoin us for a Coffee and Climate Conversation with Jayne Black and a local neighbor turned activist who helped lead the fight. Together they will share how the organizing came together so quickly\, why community voice mattered\, and what other families should know as data centers continue to expand across the country. \nLearn more and RSVP here. \nThis will be an informal\, conversational discussion with time for questions and shared learning.
