DESCRIPTION:In our August Justice in Every Breath\, Moms Clean Air Force sits down with Mrs Elemental USA 2026\, Allison Wilkinson—an environmental educator\, nonprofit leader\, and cross-country coach—to discuss how extreme heat is changing youth sports and what families\, coaches\, and communities can do to help keep young athletes safe. \nRegister here. \nAllison is the founder of The Queen of Bags Initiative\, a nonprofit that has provided more than 7\,000 reusable bags to children entering foster care across 30 states and four countries. She also coaches cross-country and co-founded Project B.E.A.U.T.Y.\, a student-led environmental service initiative that has collected more than 160\,000 can tabs to support Ronald McDonald House Charities. \nDuring the conversation\, we’ll discuss the growing health risks extreme heat poses for young athletes\, how coaches are adapting to hotter conditions\, practical ways families can prevent heat-related illness\, and why protecting children from climate impacts is an important part of safeguarding their health and well-being.
