Every once in a while some graphics wizard does something so simple, so compelling, and so smart, that it makes reality snap into focus. That’s how I felt reading this interactive graphic on what’s causing global warming.
So next time a denier tells you, well, the climate has always changed, you can feel confident in saying: Yes, that’s true. But humans weren’t around to witness those big changes, because we couldn’t survive the extreme weather, the searing heat, the bone-snapping cold. We don’t want to push our climate into that extreme again.
