This year, mothers need to think big about what we wa
nt for Mother’s Day, because there’s just too much at stake. Threats to the natural environment – the air we breathe, the water we drink, the food we eat – are threats to our very motherhood, which is our ability to love and nurture our children and see them grow safely into adulthood.
Please join the MCAF blog carnival, A Mother’s Day Gift, and share your hopes and dreams about what kind of world you want your kids to grow up in. This should take the form of a letter from you to your children about what YOU want to give THEM for Mother’s Day.
