Ten years ago, I wouldn’t have been able to tell you who ran EPA, much less exactly what it did. Then I learned that the potent neurotoxin mercury, contaminating our food, was actually an air pollution problem. Mercury comes from the smoke stacks of coal-fired power plants. That was the beginning of Moms Clean Air Force. We are now a million people strong, demanding clean air for our children’s health.
