This is a Moms Clean Air Force interview with Virginia Delegate Ron Villanueva:
What is unique about protecting the resources in your district?
All Virginians should be good stewards of the environment and take an active role in finding the balance between its uses and protecting nature. We must continue to educate, inform, and join a collaborative effort in being proper stewards of the environment.
Are you worried about the effects of climate change on Virginia’s children?
Both my wife and I are teaching our children about being good stewards of the environment and we will be teaching them about climate change, carbon gas emissions, environmental pollution, recycling, etc. and hope that other parents do the same to help sustain our Earth for future generations.
Why is a bipartisan effort so important and how can these efforts be achieved in our politically polarizing culture?
Bipartisan efforts should center on commonality and education first, in the hopes of finding common sense solutions. This year we passed efforts on solar energy and in developing plans for coastal flooding which are significant towards finding solutions and diversifying our economy.
Is there anything you’d like to share that is important for Moms Clean Air Force members to know?
I applaud the efforts of the Moms Clean Air Force and look forward to partnering with them in their efforts.
