However, on a positive note, the Safe Climate Caucus, chaired by Rep. Henry Waxman (D-CA), has been actively engaged …

For Shame! Gina McCarthy Nomination Boycotted

Republicans on the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee, scheduled to vote today on the nomination of Gina McCarthy as the new head of EPA, boycotted the procedure. Dear Michelle Obama…

Dear Michelle Obama, I'm writing to you about something important, in honor of Mother's Day, as one First Mom (of my family) to another First Mom (of this country!) The subject is climate change — and our duty as mothers to address it wholeheartedly and ambitiously. I had thought — we all think — that …

A Toothless Law On Toxic Chemicals

This article was written by the New York Times editorial board:  It would be hard to design a law more stacked against the regulators than the 1976 Toxic Substances Control Act, which is supposed to ensure the safety of thousands of chemicals used in household products and manufacturing.
