Laila Ali smiling and holding her baby daughter

Laila Ali is well known for being the daughter of legendary boxer Muhammad Ali. She is also known for being a champion boxer herself. So, she is no stranger to working hard, fighting for what she wants, and protecting herself.

Well when she became a mother, the scope of her concerns changed. And she added her kids to this list. Laila states:

“Life changed when I became a mother, because I no longer think about myself. When I wake up in the morning, I think about Curtis and Sydney. You know as moms, we have so many things to think about. We’re thinking about feeding the kids, and clothing the kids, and bathing them. And, now one more big thing…keeping the air clean.”

Laila Ali has joined thousands of moms and dads (including me) in protecting our children’s rights to clean air! She knows that 10% of all children have asthma and that number jumps to 22% for African American kids. And air pollution is the main culprit for those numbers.

Please check out the video to learn more about why Laila Ali is fighting against air pollution. And join Laila, me and thousands of other parents by signing up for MOMS CLEAN AIR FORCE.
